Snape Maltings, an idyllic settlement deep in rural Suffolk, was the first destination for the Simon Balle students, and what a cracking excursion it was, that according to one Matty P.
The aim of the visit was to decipher the scale of success of Snape Maltings’ recent attempts to rebrand. To reach such a conclusion, we needed an effective plan. Such a plan was met with full frontal conviction: take a look around the place and fill in several geographical surveys, such as the infamous building quality survey. Following hours of toil by our dedicated students and staff, we were able to reach a remarkably satisfying conclusion… In the words of Gregor Noblett, “Crikey, the rebranding of Snape Maltings has proven to be mind-bogglingly spell-binding.” Here’s to Snape Maltings!
By Tim Hardy and Gregor Noblett, with special thanks to Matty P and Michael Sharp.
